Join our Team as a part-time Teaching Assistant at Wheatfield Primary School! As a Teaching Assistant, you will work flexibly across the School, supporting all age groups in close collaboration with the teachers. You will work as part of a team under the guidance of class teachers and the SENCO to assist in the educational, personal, and social development of our pupils, including those with special educational needs.The successful candidates will:✅ Be passionate about making a difference to all children ✅ Have experience supporting children’s learning, ideally within a school or classroom environment ✅ Be aspirational for every child and believe that all pupils can learn – even if they haven’t learnt something yet ✅ Be flexible and able to adapt their practice to support effective learning ✅ Demonstrate strong pupil management skills, ensuring that learning continues in a calm, structured environment ✅ Build strong, positive relationships with colleagues, children, and families ✅ Be a reflective practitioner with a strong desire to learn and continually improve ✅ Hold a relevant Level 2 NVQ qualification (or equivalent) as a minimum Fluency Duty
