What you’ll be doing:

• Delivering engaging and practical Food Technology lessons to students up to Key Stage 4

  
  

• Planning and preparing lessons that develop students’ cooking, nutrition, and food science knowledge

  
  

• Managing classroom activities that encourage creativity, safety, and teamwork

  
  

• Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback

  
  

• Supporting students’ understanding of healthy eating and sustainable food practices

  
  

• Collaborating with colleagues to develop and improve the Food Technology curriculum

  
  

• Contributing to the wider school community and extracurricular activities where appropriate

  
  

  The successful Food Technology Teacher will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with Food Technology or Design & Technology specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)

    
    

  • Experience teaching Food Technology up to Key Stage 4 (KS4)

    
    

  • Excellent classroom management skills

    
    

  • Strong communication skills and a passion for practical learning
