TeacherActive is currently recruiting for a qualified and enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher to join one of our partner secondary schools in the Chatham area. This role is open to both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs), with options for day-to-day, long-term, or permanent positions available.

The successful Food Technology Teacher will have:

  • QTS with a specialism in Design & Technology (Food Tech focus preferred)


  • Experience teaching Key Stage 3 and 4


  • A creative approach to planning and delivering engaging, practical lessons


  • Excellent classroom management and the ability to motivate students


  • Strong communication and organisational skills
