Hays Education is recruiting enthusiastic and supportive Teaching Assistants for long-term jobs in primary schools across Warwick and Leamington. This job is ideal for individuals passionate about helping children thrive in a classroom setting and who are committed to making a positive impact.
Your new role
You will be expected to support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and assist with classroom setup and resource preparation. Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils and help manage classroom behaviour and follow school policies. You will need to be able to communicate effectively with staff and parents when needed and be flexible to work across different schools in the Warwick and Leamington area.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience working with children in an educational setting or have referable skills from roles such as care workers/ social workers/ holiday club.
- A relevant TA qualification is desirable but not essential.
- A strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum is a plus.
- Patience, adaptability, and a proactive attitude.
