Your new role
In this job, you'll play a key role in supporting children and teachers in the classroom. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting teachers during core subjects like Maths and English
- Providing 1:1 or small group support to children who need extra help
- Helping to create a positive and engaging classroom environment
- Working with children of all abilities, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
What you'll need to succeed
We're looking for individuals with transferable skills from:
- Social care or youth work jobs
- Residential care jobs
- Nursery or early years jobs
- Volunteering or mentoring jobs involving children or young people
You don't need to be a qualified Teaching Assistant - if you're compassionate, patient, and confident working with children, this could be the ideal job for you.
