Summary

Looking to make a difference in the community while developing your project coordination skills? This is a great opportunity to support the delivery of impactful local initiatives, working alongside experienced Project Managers and engaging with a wide range of community groups.

In the Project Officer role, you will be:

• Supporting Project Managers with the delivery of activities and sessions across Conwy county

• Attending community events and sessions, helping to ensure smooth running and positive engagement

• Liaising with participants, partners, and stakeholders to foster strong working relationships

• Keeping accurate records and assisting with general administration and data entry

• Taking a proactive approach to problem-solving and adapting to community needs

To be successful, you will need:

• Excellent communication skills and strong professional boundaries

• The ability to engage effectively at all levels, from participants to partner organisations

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• A genuine interest in community engagement and the ability to build trust

• A proactive, adaptable mindset and creative approach to challenges

• Confident administration skills and experience using MS Office

• A full driving licence and access to a vehicle

This is a temporary position for 8 weeks, working full time 37 hours per week Monday to Friday.

You'll be on an hourly rate of £13.47 per hour + benefits, and based in modern offices in Colwyn Bay, with travel across Conwy county.
