Crynodeb
The Health Adviser Assistant will be the point of contact for recalling patient diagnosed with Sexually Transmitted Infections requiring treatment or follow upwith partner notification to ensure the attendance and treatment of contacts. To manage the Text results service offered to patients. To discuss issues with patients diagnosed with sexually transmitted infections including HIV for information, health education, risk reduction and support by telephone. To respond to patients in crisis when they ring the health advisers and assess and refer on where appropriate. To take on project and audit work as negotiated with the Senior Health Adviser. The post will also have a clinical component in providing HIV testing including pre and post test discussion and be able to undertake an asymptomatic sexual health screen including venepuncture and processing samples Please see attached job description and person specification to this advert for further details.
