Location: Aston, Birmingham (B6)
Day Rate: £150 - £220 (dependent on experience)
Contract: Long-Term, Temp to Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday, Term Time Only

We are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Aston, Birmingham that is seeking a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher to join their specialist on-site resource base. This purpose-built provision supports pupils with complex learning needs and EHCPs, offering a nurturing and structured environment for personalised learning.

About the Role
- Lead teaching and learning within a small, supportive resource base for pupils with complex needs.
- Deliver personalised, engaging, and differentiated lessons that meet a range of SEN profiles, including ASD, communication and sensory needs.
- Collaborate closely with skilled teaching assistants, therapists, and the SENCO to provide consistent support and care.
- Monitor and manage EHCP outcomes, maintain accurate records, and contribute to annual reviews.
- Communicate regularly with families and external professionals to ensure pupils' needs are met holistically.
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential.
- SEN teaching experience, ideally within a specialist or resource base setting.
- ECTs with a strong SEN specialism will be considered.
- A postgraduate SEN qualification or relevant specialist training is highly desirable.
- A calm, confident, and proactive teaching style with excellent knowledge of differentiation, visual supports, and structured routines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a team-focused mindset.
