Are you a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher looking for your next rewarding opportunity in a supportive, specialist setting? Long Term Futures are seeking a passionate and committed SEN Teacher to join a highly successful special school in Birmingham, catering to students aged 3-19 with a primary diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

This outstanding provision delivers high-quality education tailored to meet the individual needs of over 300 students across three well-resourced sites. With a long-standing reputation for excellence and innovation in special education, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people with complex learning needs.

The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Be a qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent
- Have substantial experience in a special school environment, particularly with students with ASC
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of a wide range of special educational needs and effective, personalised approaches to teaching
- Have experience of leading and managing a team of teaching assistants
- Be confident in using a variety of communication methods to support all learners to be heard and understood
- Be a proactive team player who can work closely with colleagues and families to achieve the best outcomes
- Have a clear understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the Birmingham education landscape
- Be a skilled communicator with the ability to deal with sensitive information in a professional and confidential manner
- Thrive under pressure and have a flexible, solution-focused mindset
