Thames Reach runs projects and services that help to end homelessness in and around London. We work directly with homeless people on the streets and in hostels. We work to prevent vulnerable people from becoming homeless. We help formerly homeless people get their lives back on track. We help people find work and access training and volunteering opportunities.

About this role…

We are looking for an IT Assistant to join the IT team.
You will:
.Maintenance of asset registers for our IT equipment
.Ensuring that laptops and mobile phones are prepared and ready for new starters
.Order of mobile phones and other IT kit as required and updating the EE portal
.Work with Smartdesc to coordinate site visits ad assist with problem resolution where required
.Perform basic setup of desktop and office IT equipment
.Update of IT documentation and workflows for new starters, movers and leavers
You will have:
.Excellent knowledge, understanding or experience of working with the .Microsoft 365 suite of applications, including SharePoint
.Knowledge, understanding or experience of configuring and setting up Android phones
.Knowledge of basic IT networking, and experience of troubleshooting basic connectivity issues
.Excellent written and verbal communication skills
.Experience of working independently using own initiative whilst meeting tight deadlines.
.Experience of keeping accurate records and providing information for monitoring and evaluation as required
