Summary
At WM College, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional educational and training opportunities that transform lives. As the oldest adult college in the country, we are committed to our learners achieving their full potential. Are you an enthusiastic and proactive IT professional looking to build your career in a supportive and dynamic environment? We are seeking an Assistant IT Technician to join our dedicated IT team and play a vital role in supporting staff and students across our two college sites.
As the Assistant IT Technician, you’ll be a key member of a small team responsible for delivering day-to-day IT support services across the college. You’ll act as the first point of contact for all IT-related enquiries and fault reports, using our support desk system to log, action, and track requests through to resolution — ensuring service levels are met and users are kept informed every step of the way.
Your duties will span both of our college sites, and your ability to manage time, prioritise tasks, and communicate clearly will be essential. The role includes shift work, including some Saturdays, to ensure comprehensive support coverage.
Interviews are scheduled for 18th July 2025
