Kew Centre Ltd is a UK-based education consultancy offering bespoke academic planning and UK school/university admissions support for international students, particularly those from Chinese-speaking families. We are known for delivering culturally responsive, premium services that bridge UK education with global client expectations.
As part of our long-term strategy, we are looking to develop and grow a high-net-worth (HNW) client portfolio. We are now recruiting a Senior Business Development Manager – Private Clients to lead this important initiative.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with high-net-worth clients, particularly in China and the UK, using personal networks, referrals, and structured outreach.
- Promote the Company’s educational consultancy services to potential HNW clients through tailored presentations, seminars, and referrals.
- Engage with introducers such as private banks, blue-chip companies, major real estate developers, education agents, and etc. to establish client pipelines.
- Conduct detailed consultations with HNW families to assess needs, advise clients on suitable UK education options, coordinate bespoke consultancy service packages and propose personalised education solutions.
- Prepare service agreements and negotiate commercial terms in line with internal policies and client expectations.
- Build and manage strong, long-term client relationships through high-quality engagement and post-sale support (e.g., via WeChat or WhatsApp).
- Maintain accurate CRM records of client interactions, progress, and outcomes.
- Monitor sales targets and conversion rates, provide reports and strategic input to management.
- Work closely with marketing and academic teams to align service delivery with client expectations and market trends.
- Provide feedback to internal teams to refine products, pricing, and marketing strategy based on client insight.
- Represent Kew Centre Ltd at relevant events, education fairs and high-net-worth advisory forums to enhance visibility and establish partnerships.
Candidate Requirements
- Fluency in both Mandarin and English (oral and written), with strong cross-cultural communication skills (Mandatory).
- Established work experience (minimum 5 years) in business development, high-value client engagement or private client sales (Mandatory).
- Proven ability to attract, convert and manage HNW clients, ideally within the international education or advisory sector (Mandatory).
- Bachelor’s degree required; postgraduate qualifications in Business, Marketing, or Education preferred (Mandatory).
- Strong understanding of HNW client preferences, decision-making drivers, and service expectations.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, digital channels (e.g., Xiaohongshu/WeChat), and KPI-led reporting.
- Good IT skills and proficient in Microsoft Office Packages.
