Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving growth and expanding our market presence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of sales strategies and be adept at building relationships with clients. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and contributing to our overall business strategy.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Ownership of Sales Process: Prospect, identify, and convert new B2B customers within key manufacturing sectors.
Face-to-Face Engagement: Secure face-to-face meetings with key decision-makers nationwide.
Deal Closing: Build trust, tailor solutions, overcome objections, and successfully close deals.
Territory Expansion: Develop strategic sales plans and proactively pursue new opportunities.
Achieving Targets: Work towards aggressive sales targets and enjoy rewards for exceeding them.
Customer Relationship Management: Nurture new accounts to foster long-term value.
Collaborative Approach: Liaise with internal teams to ensure operational delivery and customer satisfaction.
Who We’re Looking For:

Experience: Proven track record in B2B sales, with a focus on field-based, deal-closing roles.
Industry Background: Manufacturing or related industrial sectors (preferred but not essential).
Attributes: Highly driven, self-starting professional with a results-focused mindset.
Autonomy: Thrives on autonomy and enjoys frequent travel to visit prospects and clients.
Communication: Excellent communicator with strong commercial instincts and resilience under pressure.
Organization: Highly organized with the ability to manage own pipeline, targets, and time effectively.
Location Requirement: Based within commuting distance of Derby when not travelling UK-wide.
