Crynodeb
This is a full-time on-site role for a Welder who has strong experience with gas or plasma cutting tools and metal processing located in our Newport Yard site. The Welder will be responsible for cutting, welding and managing scrap metal materials using gas or plasma cutting tools. Daily tasks include inspecting and sorting materials, maintaining safety standards, ensuring efficient processing, and cooperating with the recycling team to optimize material recovery. The Welder will also be tasked with maintaining cutting equipment and adhering to all health and safety protocols.

Qualifications
Experience with gas or plasma cutting tools and metal processing
Welding experience is desirable.
Knowledge of metal types and recycling processes
Adherence to health and safety standards and protocols
Strong organizational and teamwork skills
Physical ability to handle heavy materials and operate machinery
Previous experience in a recycling or industrial environment is a plus
High school diploma or equivalent education
