3 month contract





Our Client is currently seeking a Tenancy Enforcement Officer to join their dedicated team. This is a front-line role focused on making a visible difference within estates and housing areas. You’ll work directly with residents to foster a peaceful, well-maintained environment and take swift, robust action against anti-social behaviour and tenancy breaches.

The Role:
As a Tenancy Enforcement Officer, you will play a key role in providing a comprehensive front-line service to residents, particularly those moving into new build homes. You will support their transition into their new properties, helping them to settle in and promoting the appropriate use of their accommodation.
To provide a high-quality, customer-focused range of front-line services by:



Acting as a visible, proactive presence in the community.


Promoting responsible tenancy and safe, clean neighbourhoods.


Enforcing tenancy conditions and responding decisively to anti-social behaviour.



You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of tenancy and neighbourhood issues across a designated group of properties. This includes dealing with all forms of nuisance and anti-social behaviour, and taking prompt, robust enforcement action against any breaches of tenancy conditions.

Key Responsibilities:



Deliver a high-quality, customer-focused tenancy management service.


Conduct home visits, block inspections, and lone-working tasks as part of an active caseload.


Support new tenants to settle into their homes and communities.


Work in partnership with internal teams and external agencies to address complex tenancy issues.


Investigate and resolve reports of anti-social behaviour and tenancy breaches.


Maintain accurate case records and prepare documentation for legal proceedings if necessary.



Essential Requirements:


Organised and able to manage a busy and varied workload independently.

Confident lone workers with experience conducting home and site visits.


Excellent communicators with strong interpersonal and customer service skills.


Calm under pressure and able to work effectively in challenging or sensitive situations.


Flexible, with a practical approach and a strong commitment to problem-solving.


Meet residents in their homes or local venues to resolve tenancy issues.


Address breaches of tenancy conditions through preventative and legal measures.


Collaborate with partners to safeguard children and prevent homelessness.


Maintain accurate records and provide performance/statistical data as required.


Support team training and provide service cover where needed.


Respond to councillor and resident enquiries, complaints, and emergency incidents.


Comply with health & safety legislation, equality policies, and digital systems agreements.

Experience in tenancy enforcement, housing management or a related field is desirable.
Experience handling anti-social behaviour, safeguarding, and community safety.
A full driving licence and access to a vehicle may be required.
