We have an exciting opportunity for an NQT or experienced teacher looking for a post in a successful and supportive school. The successful candidate will be expected to support teaching across KS3 and KS4 to GCSE level and will demonstrate innovative and creative approaches to the teaching. Assisting our teachers in ensuring our students reach their full potential, by teaching effective and interesting lessons in their absence.
The ideal candidate will:
• have a proven track record in providing success for students;
• work successfully as part of a team;
• have current and thorough knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 curriculum
• be able to contribute to our extra-curricular provision
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, an approachable, confident manner and an empathy with young people. They will have recent and relevant experience and will be able to demonstrate good communication, organisational and behaviour management skills in a classroom setting.
Argoed High School is committed to the safety of its pupils and staff. The post is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check, and the post holder will have to be registered with the EWC (Education Workforce Council)
