Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in AML/CTF compliance, KYC/onboarding, and regulatory reporting, combined with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities. This role is critical in ensuring the organisation’s operations are compliant with regulatory requirements, particularly those outlined in the FCA Handbook.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Compliance & Monitoring
• Implement, maintain, and continuously improve internal compliance frameworks.
• Conduct compliance monitoring, self-audits, and contribute to internal control improvements.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements including AML/CTF laws, FCA regulations, and data protection policies.
2. KYC, AML & Onboarding
• Perform and review KYC checks, risk assessments, and due diligence during client onboarding.
• Monitor transactions and activities for signs of suspicious behaviour and escalate as necessary.
• Support the filing of Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and other regulatory submissions.
3. Risk Management & Controls
• Conduct and document risk assessments on key client relationships and business processes.
• Recommend and implement mitigating controls to reduce identified risks.
• Assist in business continuity, fraud risk, and operational risk planning.
4. Stakeholder & Relationship Management
• Collaborate with internal departments (legal, operations, sales) to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage communication with external regulators and third-party compliance partners when necessary.
• Leverage CRM systems to track client data, interactions, and compliance documentation.
5. Strategic Planning & Reporting
• Assist in the development of compliance strategies and policies in line with evolving regulations.
• Deliver regular reports and updates on compliance status, risks, and audit outcomes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the FCA Handbook and industry best practices.

6. Key Skills & Competencies:
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and regulations
• Expertise in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF)
• Experience in KYC and onboarding for regulated industries
• Familiarity with the FCA Handbook and UK compliance standards
• Excellent problem-solving, strategic planning, and reporting abilities
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage internal and external stakeholders
• Attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive documentation
• Proven experience using CRM systems and managing key client relationships
• Effective teamwork, communication, and cross-functional collaboration

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Finance, or a related field
• 3–5+ years of experience in compliance, risk, regulatory affairs, or financial services
• Certifications such as ICA, ACAMS, or other compliance-related credentials (preferred)
