Job objectives and responsibilities
· Managing the delivery of quoted small works across site to achieve contractual SLAs in accordance with airport engineering standards, client permit to work procedures and Mitie QHSE procedures.
· Acting as the QHSE Champion for the contract, ensuring quoted works are completed safely, compliance to permit to work processes, regular auditing and provide QHSE support to the self-delivery engineering team.
Main duties
o Supporting the Quoted Works Contract Manager with the delivery of small works at Manchester Airport.
o Scheduling/programming works with subcontractors and self-delivery engineering team
o Ensuring works have suitable risk assessments and method statement, demonstrating safe systems of work, and permits to work are in place where necessary.
o Review of RAMS/SSOW prior to works taking place and audit subcontractor/engineer works in accordance with the RAMS/SSOW and/or permit. Issuing of permits to work where necessary
-Ensure that all works carried out are undertaken within current codes of practice, to MAG engineering standards and in accordance with client & Mitie QHSE procedures.
-Act as the QHSE Champion for the contract, ensuring works are completed safely, undertaking auditing and supporting the self-delivery engineering team with compliance to QHSE standards.
-To review and accept completion documentation in line with contract requirement.
o Build positive working relationships with subcontractors, client FM lead, client project managers and the self-delivery team.
o To understand and complete all work related documentation accurately and on time
o To understand and comply with policies and procedures
o Support the Contract Manager with monthly reporting.
o To comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures
o To undertake additional duties in line with capabilities as required
