Crynodeb
To provide the Security Department with IT and Administrative support as required.
Ensuring that all personnel, lessees, and contractors within the Naval Base are compliant security regulations contained within HMNB Base Security Orders and other appropriate MOD regulations.
Ensuring that all Naval Base personnel, lessees, and contractors are informed of any changes/updates of either local or national security advice and notices.
Effectively manage/track security breaches and incidents using the security incident spreadsheet and action with the relevant department to bring to a satisfactory conclusion.
The post holder will undertake tasks as directed by the Security Department Head to deliver departmental outputs and assist the Security Assurance Officers in providing evidence and recording of assurance activities.
Provide assistance and support to assurance teams in BSyO Dept and assist in liaison with Navy Command (NC) Principal Security Advisor (PSyA) team and Defence Nuclear Organisation (DNO).
Act as the Department business point of contact: reviewing and ensuring Base Security Documentation is updated and compliant with National and Navy Command policy. Liaising with the HMNB Quality team as necessary to ensure Business Management System is correctly updated.
