Crynodeb
The Mental Health Liaison Service is an ageless service, working with patients of all ages. The post holder will be expected to have some experience working with a wide variety of patient demographics, including children and older adults.
The post holder will be required to work 37.5 hours a week including shifts, weekends, bank holidays, and nights. This service operates over 7 days a week 24 hours per dayand so there will be times when the post holder will need to frequently work out of hours to operate the service and meet patient needs.
The post holder will be a member of the Mental Health Liaison Service in GMMH – South Manchester Mental Health Liaison and will provide support and assistance to the professionally qualified staff in the department. The post holder will support patients placed in Emergency Department covering the diversion suite.
Responsibilities will include direct nursing care, cleaning of the Diversion Suite, and delegated duties from the shift coordinator.
