Summary
South Mersey CMHT are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic occupational therapist to join our busy Community Mental Health Team. This is a split post with 50% responsibility for care coordination and 50% for occupational therapy assessments and interventions.
This post will be supported by the Band 7 Occupational Therapy lead and Operational manager for the team.
We promote personal development through local training or the range of CPD activities offered within the trust and local HEIs.
Accept and screen referrals to the recovery pathway and allocate as appropriate.Provide support supervision and guidance as necessary in relation to cases allocated to recovery team membersBe aware of and practice within the relevant legislative clinical guidelines issued by local and national statutory bodies and be legally responsible and accountable for all aspects of work.
Actively access and evaluate ongoing up to date Occupational therapy evidence based research to underpin, develop and inform clinical practice.
