Two dynamic and inclusive secondary schools located in Bournemouth and Poole, both part of a leading Multi Academy Trust, are offering fantastic opportunities for high-achieving graduates to join as Graduate Secondary Teaching Assistants starting in September 2025.
This is a paid, full-time position designed to give you hands-on experience in the classroom. You’ll work alongside experienced educators to support student learning, develop your teaching skills, and gain valuable insight into the inner workings of successful secondary schools.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:-
Supporting teaching and learning across your subject area, or more broadly as needed

Working with students 1:1 or in small groups to boost understanding and engagement

Helping to plan lessons and prepare classroom materials

Supporting behaviour management and contributing to a positive learning environment

Gaining insight into school operations, policies, and best practices
Who We’re Looking For:-
Final-year students or recent graduates with a 2:1 or above
-
Preferably from a Russell Group or Top 20 UK university

A strong interest in education and working with young people

Reliable, enthusiastic, and proactive

Passionate about one or more of the listed subject areas

Any prior experience working with children (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, coaching) is a bonus – but not essential
