Are you graduating this year with a 2:1 or above from a Russell Group or Top 20 UK university?
Would you like to begin a rewarding role in education, gaining valuable classroom experience in a supportive secondary school setting?
We are working in partnership with two welcoming and ambitious secondary schools, one based in Bournemouth and the other in Poole, both part of a high-performing Multi Academy Trust. These schools are looking to recruit Graduate Teaching Assistants to join their teams in September 2025. These are full-time, paid positions that provide an excellent foundation for anyone considering a future career in education.

Your responsibilities will include:-
Supporting classroom teachers in subject lessons or general learning support
-
Providing 1:1 and small group interventions to boost student understanding and confidence

Helping with classroom organisation and behaviour management
-
Assisting with planning and learning resources
-
Building strong, positive relationships with students and staff
-
Gaining valuable insight into the daily life and structure of a busy secondary school
Ideal candidates will:-
Hold or be predicted to achieve a 2:1 or above from a Russell Group or Top 20 university

Be enthusiastic about working with young people and supporting their learning
-
Show a strong interest in at least one of the target subject areas listed above
-
Be reliable, adaptable, and willing to get involved in school life
-
Have some experience working with young people (formal or informal) – desirable but not essential
