UK Power Networks are searching for an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager to join our Major Connections team at our Bury St Edmunds office. This is your chance to lead, innovate, and make a significant impact within a prestigious company, earning a competitive salary of £94,904 annually, along with a car allowance and a 3% bonus.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will manage department budgets, including budget preparation, monthly forecasting, exception management, and live reporting. You will oversee infrastructure projects from initial enquiry to post-investment appraisal, ensuring the management of staff, finances, safety, and technical issues. Working closely with the team manager, you will likely be an experienced engineer and leader with an understanding of the business from an operational and planning perspective. You will lead a team, manage project delivery, and liaise with clients such as National Grid and HS2. Your expertise will guide the project's financial control, regulatory compliance, and safety standards. While you will be office-based, regular site visits to attend customer meetings and audit site progress will be required. You will also be responsible for exception management, live reporting, and high-level IT package proficiency. Additionally, you will handle monthly forecasting and budget preparation to ensure financial accuracy and transparency.

You hold a Degree, HNC, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering with project management experience in electrical distribution networks. Your knowledge of LV/HV/EHV network design, CDM regulations, and experience in project governance make you an ideal candidate. You possess people management skills to motivate and mentor your team, ensuring safety and efficiency.
