The Gender Clinical Lead Nurse will hold clinical leadership and management responsibilities, supported by the Gender Specialist Lead Nurse and Clinical Director. Professional leadership is provided by the Chief Nursing Officer. The role will have line management responsibility for all core nursing roles within GIC, ensuring appropriate clinical supervision. The postholder will also be responsible for the nursing pathway development, working in tandem with the Clinical Director and the Gender Specialist Nurse Lead.
This role gives a fantastic opportunity to develop a nursing workforce within the service to enhance patient care and quality.

Undertake generic multi-disciplinary assessments of the health and wellbeing.
• Manage a caseload of patients whilst working as part of a
multidisciplinary team (defined or virtual), delivering individualised and
personalised direct patient care.
