We are looking to recruit a Trainee White Good Repair Engineer.
Are you:
· Mechanically minded?
· Don't mind getting your hands dirty?
· Have a good sense of humour?
· Willing to learn?
This is an exciting opportunity to join our family owned white good repair company covering the whole of the Island. Repairing washing machines, tumble driers, ovens, fridges, etc, no two days will see the same variety of appliances, installations and diversity of faults! This role requires the successful applicant to work in customers homes so will need to be trustworthy, presentable and customer orientated.
No experience is needed just a willingness to get hands on involved and learn. We train from the ground up and once competent we'll supply a vehicle, tools, kit, company uniform top, etc. We would prefer applicants to already hold a full UK drivers licence with car entitlement, but a demonstrable willingness to achieve this within a reasonable timeframe is acceptable. This is a full time position, initially paying National Minimum Wage, annual leave of 28 days including Bank Holidays.
To apply, please send your CV and a covering letter to Jared Townley, DES, Unit 12a Somerton Industrial Estate, Newport Road, Cowes, Isle of Wight PO31 8PD. Alternatively you can email des.cowes@yahoo.com
