Looking for a SEN Teacher role in Suffolk?
We're recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teachers to join our partner schools across Suffolk. Whether you're an experienced SEN professional or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) ready to start your journey, this is your chance to make a life-changing impact on pupils with SEN and/or Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
✅ Key SEN Teacher Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to pupils with SEN and SEMH needs
* Work with small class sizes (up to 10 pupils), supported by 3 Teaching Assistants
* Adapt teaching strategies for learners with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and anxiety
* Manage and review Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
* Collaborate with experienced SENCOs, therapists, and school leadership teams
* Promote pupil wellbeing, inclusion, and positive behaviour
* Uphold safeguarding and child protection standards at all times
SEN Teacher Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS - ECTs welcome to apply
* Experience teaching children with Special Educational Needs or SEMH
* Strong knowledge of classroom management and adaptive teaching methods
* A nurturing and flexible approach to education
* UK driving licence and access to a car (some schools are in rural areas)
