Reporting to the Area Housing Manager you will be responsible for the operational management of high quality, customer focused Housing Management Services ensuring effective linkages are in place between the different components of the Council’s services.

Promoting a culture which continually seeks to review and improve local services; developing and supporting new initiatives in housing management and rent collection.

You will play a key role in contributing to the long term strategic development of Housing Services.

It is essential you are educated to degree level and/or have a housing related qualification.

You will have proven track record of housing management and effective communication, leadership, influencing and negotiation skills. IT skills and the ability to contribute to investment planning and financial monitoring will also be required.

Experience of leading and motivating teams, setting targets and obtaining results, promoting quality in all service areas and delivering customer focused outcomes is essential

You will also have a high level of drive and enthusiasm. A clear and persuasive communicator with an ability to establish relationships at senior levels in other Council services, stakeholder and partnership organisations.
