We're looking for a skilled and motivated LCV Technician / LCV Mechanic / Van Mechanic / Van Technician to join a highly respected dealership workshop in Swansea. As an LCV Technician / LCV Mechanic / Van Mechanic / Van Technician, you'll play a vital role in delivering top-quality servicing, maintenance, and diagnostics in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced LCV Technician / LCV Mechanic / Van Mechanic / Van Technician who wants to develop their skills further with a manufacturer-backed programme.
Key Responsibilities of an LCV Technician / LCV Mechanic / Van Mechanic / Van Technician:
• Complete scheduled servicing and maintenance within manufacturer timescales
• Carry out thorough inspections, adjustments, and repairs as required
• Document all diagnosis, repairs, and safety inspections clearly and accurately
• Support colleagues with complex faults and technical issues
• Maintain a clean and safe working bay at all times
• Report additional faults or parts needed to the workshop controller
Skills and Qualifications for an LCV Technician / LCV Mechanic / Van Mechanic / Van Technician:
Essential
• Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance
• Ability to strip and rebuild engines
• Diagnostic repairs
• Minimum of 1 year's experience post-apprenticeship
• Experience working in a dealership or manufacturer-approved workshop
Desirable
• HGV Class 1 or 2 licence
• IRTEC qualification
