Job Description
Day-to-day, you’ll carry out a broad range of building services, maintenance and repair tasks across various client properties in your region.
Your work will span plumbing, carpentry, and general fabric-related duties, playing a vital role in keeping the spaces we manage safe, functional, and in top condition.
You’ll be working with a collaborative and experienced team who are always happy to support one another.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out fabric-related PPM, reactive and proactive maintenance tasks to exceed customer expectations.
Perform general building services tasks, including plumbing, mechanical, carpentry, and exterior ground works.
Provide callout response as per the rota and ensure effective issue resolution.
Monitor and supervise contractors, issuing Permits to Work and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
Maintain operational performance of equipment and ensure compliance with company standards.
Deliver professional customer service, ensuring satisfaction and clear client communication.
Accurately complete all administrative and record-keeping duties on time.
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations, including risk assessments and COSHH.
Identify and suggest service improvements and innovations.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Demonstrable experience working in a commercial environment.
Hands-on skills across a wide range of general maintenance/DIY-level tasks, including basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general repairs.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members on a day-to-day basis.
A proactive attitude with the ability to identify and address potential maintenance or safety issues before they escalate.
