Summary

Sports Coach – Secondary Schools (Exeter)

Full-time | £100–£130 per day (experience dependent) | Start: ASAP

Love sport? Great with teens? Looking to take your coaching skills into schools?

We’re working with a number of secondary schools across Exeter that are looking for Sports Coaches who can bring energy, structure, and positivity to PE lessons and wider school life.

This role is ideal if you’ve got experience leading sports sessions—whether in schools, clubs, or community settings—and want to turn that passion into a rewarding, full-time role within education.

You’ll support with PE delivery, help keep students engaged and active, and may also step in to cover general lessons when needed.

You’ll need:

  • Experience coaching or running physical activity sessions with young people


  • Confidence leading groups and managing behaviour calmly and positively


  • A flexible mindset—you might be on the football pitch one day, indoors the next


  • A genuine interest in helping young people build confidence and resilience through sport


    Teaching qualifications aren't essential, but experience in a school or with secondary-age students is a big plus.
