Our client, one of the leading technology and software solution providers across many sectors is looking to grow their Business Development Team.

With an incredibly strong customer base, effective lead generation operation and supportive hands-on management team; the Business Development Team will play a key role in visualising the business’ strategic growth plans – providing the right candidate a whole host of professional and personal development opportunities.

Responsibilities of the Business Development Executive
• To generate an agreed amount of quality, high value opportunities to support the wider sales team and business plan
• To understand with capability, the wide range of possible solutions and services offered and how to sell them.
• Generate new opportunities from existing and lapsed accounts.
• Inbound lead qualification and relationship building
• Maintenance and management of CRM in relation to activity
• Proactive identification of quality opportunities and outbound sales activity
• Account Based Sales activity for key target accounts.
• Transactional customer growth

To be considered for the role of Business Development
• Experience of building customer relationships through outbound calling
• Experience and knowledge of working in technology and or Software sales environment
• Proven track record of success in an outbound calling role
• Ability to learn and retain large amounts of product information.
• Experience of delivery Account Based Sales activity.
• IT literate, using CRM systems, tools and social media.
• Understanding of sales and marketing systems and CRM and automation
• Experience of time management and prioritisation when working with high volume of leads
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Long-term reward driven.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to articulate and communicate professionally with customers and peers.
• The desire to grow and develop within an ambitious and supporting business.
