What skills and experience we're looking for
Are you an organised, people-focused professional who thrives on helping teams work at their best? We are looking for a HR Officer to support our dynamic and values-driven HR function across our schools.
You'll play a central role in delivering a high-quality, efficient service – particularly around recruitment, safeguarding, and HR systems – all while helping to create a great place to work for our staff.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Leading the administrative coordination of recruitment, from job adverts to interview logistics and pre-employment checks
• Maintaining accurate HR records, updating our systems with new starters, leavers, and staff changes
• Supporting safeguarding through meticulous DBS and compliance checks
• Handling day-to-day HR correspondence, supporting meetings, and assisting with projects
• Being a friendly and professional point of contact for internal and external HR queries
What We’re Looking For:
• Solid HR administration experience (essential)
• Confident user of Google
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise under pressure
• An eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality
• A team player with a positive attitude, flexibility, and excellent communication skills
• CIPD Level 3 (or working towards it) and experience in education are a bonus
What the school offers its staff
• Amazing children who are respectful, engage with their learning and appreciate the work that we do with them
• An exciting place to work where you will feel valued for all your hard work
• A wonderfully welcoming and supportive team
• Relevant CPD to further develop your knowledge and skills and support where needed to achieve your best
• A forward thinking school where new ideas are welcomed and encouraged
