Key Responsibilities as an Outreach SEN HLTA:
As an Outreach SEN HLTA working with a brilliant and creative school near Great Yarmouth in East Norfolk, you will be delivering tailored support to children with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs. This includes working on a 1:1 basis as well as leading small group interventions to help pupils overcome barriers to learning and re-engage with their education.
You'll work both on-site and in outreach settings, helping to provide a nurturing, inspiring environment where every pupil can flourish. This Outreach SEN HLTA role is hands-on, varied, and perfect for someone who thrives on creativity and positive relationships.
The school is based in Great Yarmouth, East Norfolk, and is known for its fresh thinking, therapeutic ethos, and inclusive approach.
Outreach SEN HLTA Skills & Requirements:
Relevant HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
Experience providing 1:1 support to pupils with SEMH needs
Confident working in outreach settings across Great Yarmouth and East Norfolk
Must be a driver with access to own vehicle - travel to the sister school in Lowestoft may be required
Ability to build strong, therapeutic relationships with young people
Creativity, flexibility, and emotional resilience
A team player who can also work independently
