SEN Teaching Assistant - FE SEN College - Coventry - Temp to Perm
Location: Coventry
Contract: Full-Time, Temp to Perm
Pay: From £90 per day PAYE (dependent on experience)
Start Date: September 2025 (with induction taking place in August)
Are you passionate about supporting young adults with additional learning needs as they prepare for greater independence and life beyond education? We are working with a specialist FE (Further Education) SEN College in Coventry that provides tailored support for learners aged 16-25 with a range of complex needs, including Autism, learning difficulties, and physical disabilities.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive team in a setting focused on developing students' academic, personal, and life skills.
About the Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital part in enabling students to access education that promotes independence, employability, and personal development. You'll support learners both in the classroom and during practical, vocational activities, helping to deliver personalised programmes that meet individual EHCP targets.
What You'll Be Doing:

Providing 1:1 and small group support to meet a variety of learning and communication needs

Assisting with differentiated learning activities and ensuring accessibility for all learners

Working closely with tutors, therapists, and wider college staff to deliver a holistic, person-centred learning experience

What We're Looking For:

Experience supporting young people with SEN, ideally in an FE or post-16 setting (desirable but not essential)
