Are you ready to take on a pivotal role within the Field Army, where your work will directly impact the success of critical operations? As a Scheduler for Task Force Rapstone, you will be at the forefront of planning and coordinating project schedules, ensuring that our strategic initiatives are executed efficiently and effectively. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an important programme that is responsible for delivering transformative capability change through rapid and novel project delivery.

As a Scheduler, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules to support the successful delivery of Task Force Rapstone's initiatives. You will work closely with project managers, technical experts, and other stakeholders to gather information, create detailed schedules, and ensure that all project activities are accurately represented and tracked. Your role will be crucial in identifying potential risks, managing dependencies, and providing regular updates on project progress.

Responsibilities:

Developing Project Schedules: Create detailed project schedules that outline tasks, dependencies, durations, and milestones. Utilise project management software and tools to input and manage schedule data.
Collaborating with Stakeholders: Engage with project managers, team members, and other stakeholders to gather information necessary for schedule development. Facilitate discussions to ensure accurate representation of project activities and timelines.
Analysing and Adjusting Schedules: Continuously monitor project progress and update schedules as needed. Analyse critical paths and identify potential risks or delays.
Resource Allocation: Work with resource managers to allocate personnel, equipment, and materials according to project needs. Ensure resource management is optimally utilised to meet project deadlines.
Risk Management: Identify potential schedule risks and propose mitigation strategies. Collaborate with the project team and risk and issues manager to develop contingency plans for potential delays.
Communication: Clearly communicate schedule information to project stakeholders. Provide regular updates on schedule status, highlighting any deviations from the original plan.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that the project schedule aligns with the project scope and objectives. Conduct regular reviews to maintain the accuracy and integrity of the schedule.
