Description: A very active Cheeky-Chappy 13-year-old boy who loves swimming, trampolining and being outside is looking for a like minded PA to support him around accessing social activities and gaining independence.
For the right person this would be a rewarding role with lots of activities and a real chance to make a difference in a young person’s life.
Hours – 4 hours every week
Wage: £12.21. Hourly rate will be reviewed after initial probationary period.
Duties will include Support to access activities such as Swimming, trampolining, bike riding, Promote independence whilst maintaining safety especially near roads. The young boy is fully mobile. Communicates using IPod and phone as non-verbal.
Applicants must be Honest, Trustworthy, reliable, have a willingness to learn about non-verbal communication and ASD. Be supportive and show initiative as well as being active and patient.
All successful applicants will undergo references and an enhanced DBS check.
