Description: An almost 18 year old young man in the Darlington area is looking for a Personal Assistant to support him to access the community attending activities such as swimming and bowling and to support him to build his independence and confidence.
Hours: The role is for 3hrs per week to be used flexibly, there might be an opportunity for more hours
Rate of Pay: £12.50 per hour.
Duties will include Access the community and to participate in interests, maintain safety, build confidence and life skills.
Applicants must be: Trustworthy, reliable, patient and flexible, Experience of Autism and positive behaviour support strategies are an advantage A driver is desired but not essential.
All successful applicants will undergo references and an enhanced DBS check. Opportunities to access free training will be provided.
