Responsibilities
Facilitate supervised visits between children and their families in a safe environment.
Observe and record interactions during contact sessions, noting any significant behaviors or concerns.
Provide emotional support to children and families throughout the contact process.
Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and reports regarding each visit and individual cases.
Collaborate with social workers and other professionals involved in child welfare.
Implement activities and engage children in discussions to promote positive interactions during visits.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies and child protection guidelines.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field.
Experience working with children and families in a social services setting.
Strong understanding of child development and family dynamics.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
Demonstrated ability to maintain professional boundaries while fostering rapport with families.
Commitment to safeguarding children and promoting their welfare.
Hours Per Week: 37.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £13.91
