Responsibilities
Facilitate supervised contact sessions between children and their parents or guardians.
Ensure a safe and positive environment for children during each contact session.
Observe and document interactions, noting any significant behaviors or concerns.
Provide verbal and written feedback to social workers and stakeholders post-session.
Act as a mediator when necessary, promoting healthy communication between parties.
Maintain up-to-date records of sessions, following organizational guidelines for documentation.
Follow safeguarding protocols and report any concerns regarding child welfare promptly.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related field preferred.
Experience working with children and families in a social services context.
Strong understanding of child development and parenting dynamics.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures.
Flexibility to work various hours, including evenings and weekends if required.
Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £13.91
