We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Bromley to assist with the appointment of a Supervised Contact Worker, on a 3-month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £13.90 - £18.00 per hour

Summary:

Bromley Council is seeking a compassionate and observant Supervised Contact Worker to facilitate and monitor safe, positive, and structured contact sessions between children and their families.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and facilitate contact sessions between children and family members as directed by court orders or social work plans.
Observe and assess the quality of interactions, ensuring the safety and emotional wellbeing of the child at all times.
Provide detailed, factual written reports and observations following each session to inform assessments, care planning, and court proceedings.
Work collaboratively with social workers, carers, and families to promote positive outcomes for children
Escort children to and from contact venues when required, ensuring safe transport arrangements.
Qualifications:

NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) or equivalent is desirable.
Essentials:

Experience working with children and families in a social care, education, or community setting.
Safeguarding children training (or willingness to undertake upon appointment).
Understanding of the impact of trauma, abuse, and separation on children and families.
Please note:

This role requires an Enhanced DBS
