JOB PURPOSE: To lead the improvement of the quality of teaching across the academy, with the Academy Leadership Team and other Lead Practitioners, to consistently teach high quality lessons which bring about excellent outcomes for students.
Key Responsibilities of this role include:
- To lead, with other Academic Leaders and Academy Leadership Team, the development of best practice across the academy to enhance standards of learning and teaching
- To lead and coordinate bespoke CPD/training to improve the quality of teaching and learning within specified learning areas
- To liaise with National Lead Practitioners to support the training and development of teachers within specified areas
- To actively support the vision, ethos and policies of the Academy
- To promote and safeguard the welfare of children you teach or meet
What we're looking for:
- Eligibility to work in UK
- Enhanced DBS or willing to get new one
- Experience working with young people (desirable but not essential)
- A willingness to learn and adapt to different student needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
