About the Role:
Prospero Teaching are looking for flexible, enthusiastic and resilient individuals to work on a supply basis across a variety of SEN schools, supporting pupils with needs including:
- Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
- ADHD
- Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD)
- Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)
- Physical Disabilities and Complex Needs
Youll step into different settings, bring positivity and structure, and adapt quickly to the unique needs of each child and class.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Providing one-to-one or small group support tailored to individual needs
- Assisting with classroom learning and encouraging pupil independence
- Supporting with personal care or therapy activities (where required)
- Promoting positive behaviour and emotional well-being
- Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and support staff
What Were Looking For:
- A genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs
- Experience in an SEN environment (or a strong willingness to learn)
- Flexibility and adaptability no two days will be the same!
- A calm, nurturing and patient approach
- A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Education, or equivalent (preferred)
- An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one)
