Crynodeb
We are currently looking to recruit Shift Supervisors to join us at our client based in Coventry, CV6 4BX, in their Tray Wash Operation.
We have positions available on nights rotation, 6pm-6am, on a 3 on 3 off basis, although additional work may be required dependent on the needs of the business.
£33K-£45K
20 shifts holiday
Potential maximum 10% of basic salary annual bonus
Skills Required:
- Good understanding of site health & safety requirements.
- Previous experience managing a team
- Basic understanding of computer packages such as excel & word
Shift Supervisor duties include:
- Sole management and responsibility of all Site Operations on shift which includes wash functions, servicing of vehicles for shipping and receiving stock and overall stock movement.
* Enforce Health & Safety protocols to protect staff, contractors, and visitors. Conduct daily safety and quality audits, ensure all employees, especially new starters, are informed of the health, safety, and environment policy through safety briefs.
* Accurate and timely completion of shift reports & Update performance boards
* Liaising with customers and suppliers.
* Carry out stock counts as required during the shift.
* Implement and monitor company processes and procedures, including stock and consumable counts
* Carry out HR tasks as necessary for example return to work, holiday planning, welfare reviews, staff reviews, timesheets and disciplinary/investigation procedures
* Rotation and Organisation of labour including, booking when required agency employees based on agreed production planning for the next 24 hours.

The ideal candidate:
- Will have experience of automation
- Will have previous experience of FMCG
- Team management skills
- Background in food or food related industries
- Used to working with peak times, 24/7 production
- Worked with agencies and temporary labour
- Previous experience in a fast paced environment
- Experience of working with machinery, some engineering knowledge desirable
- Good level of English both spoken and written, understanding
