The Role
Are you a super organised ‘people person’ with great communication and IT skills plus admin experience? Can you manage a varied workload including line-managing a team of Ceremonies Registrars, whilst always giving great customer service? Do you enjoy working with the public and have the ability to make arranging someone’s special day seamless and stress-free?
We are looking for a Lead Ceremonies Co-ordinator to join our Ceremonies Team based in the Northallerton Office.
Key Responsibilities/ Duties:
As a Lead Ceremonies Co-ordinator, you will;
· Line-manage a team of Ceremonies Registrars
· Deliver excellent customer service and support couples through their special day
· Manage bookings, office diary, and legal documentation
· Provide guidance on legal requirements for marriages and civil partnerships
· Act as the “go to” person for couples, ensuring smooth ceremony planning
· Handle complex queries and support operational staff
· Participate in the weekend on-call rota for emergency registration issues

What you can bring:
We are looking for candidates who have;
· Strong admin and communication skills (spoken and written English)
· Customer-facing or front-line service experience
· High attention to detail and professional appearance
· Experience within a statutory framework is beneficial
You should also be able to demonstrate a high level of commitment to delivering a quality service with excellent customer care, along with some line-management experience.
