Summary of the role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic sport-minded professional to join our team as an Operational Assistant at the University of Exeter Sports Office.

This position will include working at the Sports Office’s three sites: St Lukes Sports Centre, Cornwall House Outdoor Swimming Pool and, if required, the Sports Park (Streatham Campus). Working as part of a team you will be responsible for the efficient, safe operation of the three sites and for delivering high standards of service across all facilities. This will include lifeguarding, delivering high levels of customer service, setting up and putting equipment, and maintaining cleanliness of all facilities.

Experience of working in a similar environment and dealing with a varied cross-section of customers is desirable along with an awareness of health and safety issues.

A proactive approach, an eye for detail and a team-minded attitude with a desire to succeed is of equal importance.

Please note that all applications must be completed by filling out the University online application form. Applications after the deadline date, email applications and direct CV’s will not be considered.

Please ensure you read the Job Description and Person Specification for full details of this role.
