Summary
Buyers and procurement officers - SOC code (3551) will do the followings:
Sourcing and Supplier Management: Identifying, evaluating, and selecting suitable suppliers for various goods.
Negotiation: Negotiating terms, prices, and contracts with suppliers to secure favourable deals.
Order Processing: Processing purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery, and managing inventory levels.
Quality Control: Ensuring that purchased goods meet quality standards and specifications.
Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Market Analysis: Staying informed about International market trends, competitor activity, and potential suppliers.
Problem Solving: Addressing issues related to deliveries, quality, or supplier performance.
Job requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old
Must be bilingual. (English and Portuguese or itlaian)
Must hold a university degree in any field.
Must possess a valid driving license eligible for driving in the UK and EU.
Must have a minimum of 2 years of purchasing experience in a clothing or fashion brand.
Must have 3 to 6 months (or more) experience in international purchasing or sourcing.
Must be willing and able to travel between the UK and EU for business purposes.
