Shorterm Group have partnered with some of the biggest Bus companies across the UK, aimed at upskilling vehicle mechanics into skilled Bus technicians.
We are currently looking for qualified and experienced mechanics to join the programme in various locations across the London area.
It is a 1 year, earn-and-learn programme, full-time in the depot, along with online learning to be done in your own time (1-2 hours per week). Upon completion you will receive an IMI accreditation and a pay increase.
Position Details:
• Role: PSV/Bus Engineer – Working on London Red Busses
• Location: Various across London
• Shift: Shift work - Early/Late, 5:45am-2:30pm/1:45pmpm-10:30pm. Times/days will vary so will need to be able to commit to shift work.
• Competitive Salary: Starting between £34k p.a. and £46k p.a., depending on the shift pattern, plus you get paid an enhanced rate for overtime hours. (Our current upskillers average £37k/£38k per annum, for a 40hr week).

Entry requirements:
- Min level 3 in vehicle mechanics, or equivalent qualification/apprenticeship
- Min 4 years experience post study/apprenticeship, gained in a workshop environment
- Valid UK Drivers licence
- Own tools suitable for a working light vehicle technician
- A suitable laptop/computer and internet connection.
