Support Worker – Flexible Hours in the Heart of the Staffordshire Countryside
Are you an experienced Support Worker looking for a role that offers flexibility and a peaceful working environment? This could be the perfect opportunity for you.
We’re recruiting for a rewarding position in a beautifully situated supported living home in Yoxall, nestled in the rural Staffordshire countryside. The home supports up to 11 residents and specialises in care for individuals with learning disabilities, mental health conditions, physical disabilities, and sensory impairments.
In this role, you’ll follow personalised care plans to support residents in living as independently as possible. Some personal care may be required, along with assisting in daily routines and activities that promote well-being and autonomy.
No two days are the same. Your responsibilities may also include updating condition reports, reporting incidents to senior staff, and helping with general housekeeping to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
If you're passionate about making a positive impact and want the freedom to choose your shifts, we’d love to hear from you.
To demonstrate your experience and suitability for the role of Support Worker you will need:
- An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
- Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving and Handling training
- A Referenceable work history
- At least 3 months experience within a similar setting
If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!
Due to the location of the home, having your own transport will be preferred.
**Please note that we do not offer sponsorships**
This role offers ongoing opportunities for the right candidate
Typical working hours will be:
22:00 to 08:00
This home offers night hours during the week and the weekend, allowing you to choose work days to suit your lifestyle
As a Support Worker you will be paid £12.50 per hour
