The Opportunity:
Long Term Futures is seeking a compassionate and resilient SEMH Specialist to support pupils in all through SEN school setting in South London. This is a classroom-based role ideal for graduates and passionate experienced candidates, making a difference in the lives of children facing social, emotional, and mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted emotional and behavioural support to children with SEMH needs
- Support pupils in developing self-regulation, social skills, and positive learning behaviours
- Work closely with class teachers, SENCo, and external agencies to ensure a consistent approach
- Build trusting, long-term relationships with pupils to aid in their emotional development
- Monitor student progress and adapt support strategies as needed
Who We're Looking For:
- Minimum Level 3 qualification (essential)
- Previous experience working in a secondary school or supporting students with SEN
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with staff, students, and parents
- Ability to motivate and encourage students, fostering a positive learning environment
- A commitment to safeguarding and student well-being
Additional Information:
- Full-time, long-term role starting September 2025

- Paid up to £130 per day, term-time only
